Bizlink also has a social enterprise division that markets and sells outsourced services. These services channel employment back to PWDs working in Bizlink’s sheltered workshop as well as benefitting other disadvantaged people.
Many commercial companies have outsourced their work processes to Bizlink. Not only did they enjoy relatively lower cost of production, but also a reasonable quality level of work output while fulfilling their social responsibilities.
“THESE ABLED PEOPLE” BRAND OF CARDS & GIFTS are designed and crafted by talented people with disabilities (PWDs). Marketed under Bizlink’s social enterprise arm, the range of products includes hand crafted stationery, enhanced plush, floral gift baskets, fashion jewellery, printed greeting cards and birthday cards, hand-painted glasswares and corporate gifts.
These Abled People creations also include paintings (oil & water colour paintings) from the disabled community. Every year Bizlink encourages talented disabled artists to paint and the selected paintings are used as creative for season greeting cards. Birthday and Thank You cards are also available.
The sale of these items goes to supporting the disabled to help them achieve independence, dignity and integration into mainstream society through employment.
